What is "Military-Grade" Locking?

When you lock a file with our Lock PDF tool, we use something called AES-256.

AES-256 is the same standard used by the government to hide its top secrets. "256" refers to the length of the digital key. To guess an AES-256 key, a supercomputer would need billions of years.

Why Local Locking is Better

Most sites make you upload your secret file to their cloud to lock it. This is a risk. If the site is hacked, your file is gone.

Tips for a Top Password

• Use at least 12 characters.
• Mix letters, numbers, and symbols (like @ or !).
• Do not use your name or birthday.
