PDFs carry more than what is on the page. Document properties name the author, comments and sticky notes keep side conversations, attachments can include the original records, and earlier saved versions can survive inside the file. Before sharing medical, legal or HR documents, that hidden data should go. This tool removes document properties and XMP metadata, comments and annotations (links are kept), attached files, scripts and form fields (their values are flattened onto the page), then purges every leftover object, including earlier saved versions. The visible page content is not changed; to remove names or numbers that appear on the page, use the PDF Redactor.
