Most quick redaction tools draw a black box on top of the page. The words underneath stay in the file, and anyone can copy them out. This redactor removes them. When you save, every page that has a redaction box is rebuilt as a flat image with the boxes burned in. The original text, fonts, form values and annotations on those pages are deleted from the file, and leftover copies from earlier saves are purged. Pages without redactions are left exactly as they were. Everything happens in your browser. Your document is never uploaded to FusioFiles or anyone else, which matters when the file is privileged, confidential or contains personal data.
